It’s my pleasure to introduce our first official project under EarthCore Media, LLC. We’ve always had a love for grand, epic stories with love and meaning at the core. But to attempt a story like this in live action we knew would prove troublesome, which is why we’ve decided to dip our hand into the world of audio drama.

Audio Drama has allowed us to tell the first installment of our Spider-Man/Mary Jane trilogy without limitation. We’ve always wanted to tell a story with the idea of love at its core. Emphasizing how great heroes are driven by love and compassion, something we feel has been de-emphasized in recent superhero media.

Valentine’s Day isn’t easy for anyone. But for Peter Parker(Andrew King), it’s even worse, because he lives the troublesome double life of Spider-Man. While on his way to his long-awaited first date with Mary Jane Watson(Maggie Roscher), Rhino(Jason Kelsick) strikes in Times Square! But little does Peter know, Rhino has his own Valentine’s plans…

Something we’ve always loved about the Spider-Man films, shows, and games is their dedication to delivering spectacular action fueled by emotional and serious character drama. Because a hero saving the city, world, or even their greatest enemies is only interesting if he first must save himself.

We wanted to take Peter Parker on a journey of learning to not only love those around him but his enemies as well. Every villain has a story worth telling, giving us the chance to highlight the depth behind a villain often brushed aside in other Spider-Man media: The Rhino. Often depicted as a bumbling brute, we wanted to bring something into Rhino’s life to ground him in reality… a daughter.

We’re incredibly proud to present our first official project to you all. While we’re excited to jump into live-action for future projects, delving into the world of audio dramas for the first time has been an incredibly valuable experience and has opened up an entirely new door of opportunity for the way we tell our stories. We’re so excited for what the future holds for this company and we help you’ll join us for the ride.
